Loving Relationships: What We've Learned So Far In Manifesting Ours!

Hâle and I share our hard lessons. Part 1.

We’ve been together for 2 years. We started to be intimate as soon as we met and noticed that we shared values and a common vision. Afterwards, we traveled a long time together. Then we had some months of separation. Then we continued to travel together as brother and sister, etc. So many updates, upgrades, and reverts. Even tho we went thru so many relationship structure changes, the love, acceptance, understanding, and connection has continually grown in an increasingly beautiful and peaceful way. When people ask us “What are you?” we would answer that we don’t even know what we are, but we are sure that we love each other.

We decided to share about this more now, since these days many people are easily getting stuck in definitions, structures, and rules in relationships, instead of focusing on evolving and opening our hearts together.

In this episode 1, we wanted to start with thinking about what love is:

  • Divine love, human love, intimate relationship love..

  • Why do we need relationships?

  • The need for connection, belonging, and community.

  • The intense emotions that rise up in intimate relationships: lust, compassion, desire, fear.

  • Do intimate relationships need to have a purpose?

  • Does life have a purpose?

  • Should relationships be part of our healing journey?

  • Where do children fit in?

  • How can our relationships be more conscious and satisfying?

  • Radical honesty and showing vulnerabilities as key to opening to love.

Relating with each other with purely open hearts, showing our vulnerabilities and holding space for others’ vulnerabilities in relationships, are the medicines we need to feel the love. This is how we will heal ourselves and the world.

We are excited to talk more, and we will continue with sharing more personal aspects of our relationship journey together in Episode 2. You can see Hâle’s personal blog here, which I find to be very therapeutic to read for probably anyone. You’ll see why I love her by reading that!
